Global Innovation Speaker Series

September 21 @ 7:30 am - 9:30 am

Join us for a look at how digital disruption is changing how we interact with our city.

What lessons can Fairfield County learn from efforts to create innovation
and sustainable development on a global level? As part of Stamford Innovation Week, the World Affairs Forum and our co-host Stamford Partnership are thrilled to bring you this global perspective on local solutions to smart city innovation.

Development projects and built structures, such as housing, public spaces and transit stops, can influence people to think and behave in ways that are indicative of strong networks and cohesion. Psychologists label these behaviors, thoughts and feelings “pro-community,” meaning that they benefit their communities. Join us for a light breakfast and presentation to explore how built environments influence pro-community behaviors, thoughts and feelings, and their impact on community sustainability and resilience.
